Helen B. Bentley Family Health Center (formerly Coconut Grove Family Clinic and Coconut Grove Family Health Center) originated as a "Free Night Clinic" for the poor people of West Coconut Grove who had to take several buses and wait long hours at Jackson Memorial Hospital in the late 60's. It has evolved into a comprehensive primary health care delivery system providing healthcare that is culturally and linguistically diversified to serve the many different ethnic groups residing in Miami-Dade County at large.

HBBFHC is a JCAHO Accredited Organization and a member of the Florida Association of Community Health Centers (FACHC), the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), and the Health Choice Network, Inc. (HCN).

Our doctors are board certified in their field of study. Other staff are licensed and certified as required in their field of study.
